We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming love, prayers, and support extended to our family during this heartbreaking time. Though the loss of our pillar Joe Mahop has left an immeasurable void, we lean on our faith in Christ as we navigate this difficult transition.
Joe was more than a husband and father. He was the foundation of our home and a source of strength, love, and guidance to many. The kindness and compassion shown to us by family, friends, church members, colleagues, and our community have carried us in ways we cannot fully express.
If you wish to join us in honoring and celebrating the life of a remarkable man, we would be honored by your presence on March 7 in Dallas (church service) Irving, Texas (wake keeping reception) and March 27–28 in Limbe, Cameroon.
Many have also reached out to ask how they may contribute. If you wish to make a donation, please find the giving details below.
Again, we thank God for each of you and for anyway you have extended your hand of service. Your kindness has been a reflection of Christ’s compassion, reminding us that even in sorrow, we are held by His promises and surrounded by a united community. Every prayer lifted, word spoken, and act of generosity has strengthened us and affirmed that Joe’s life and legacy continue to bear fruit through the love you have shown.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Eveline, Maliz, Chanel, and Joey Mahop
