As President of SOBA America, I speak for an entire brotherhood when I say this Joe Mahop represented the very best of who we are. His life reminds us that great men are not remembered for the titles they hold, but for the lives they lift and Joe lifted many. I want to extend SOBA America's deepest condolences to the members of SOBA Dallas, a chapter Joe helped build with dedication and leadership. We are also profoundly grateful to the brothers of SOBA Dallas for the extraordinary love, solidarity, and unwavering support they have shown Joe's family from the very beginning of this difficult journey until today. Your actions reflect the very essence of our brotherhood. That is the SOBAN Way.

Though Joe's physical presence has left us, his spirit will continue to live in the friendships he strengthened, the lives he touched, and the brotherhood he helped build. On behalf of SOBA America, I extend our heartfelt condolences to his beloved wife, his children, the Mahop family, and the entire SOBA Dallas chapter.

 

Please know that you do not mourn alone, the entire SOBA brotherhood stands with you today and always. May the soul of our brother, SOBAN Joseph "Joe" Mahop, rest in eternal peace.
