Uncle Joe,
The Big Sir Joe as I fondly called you; I find it difficult referring to you in the past. I still feel like I'm dreaming because you were so full of life, reasons why I can't comprehend how sudden life left you on that faithful December 25th. But even in this dilemma I'm comforted with the understanding that life is not just about how long we live but rather how richly and fulfilling we live. All through your paths in life's journey you touched lives and radiated compassion, love and kindness. You had a way of uplifting everyone around you including me and inexplicably had a solution to almost every puzzle life threw at you.
Sir Joe, I'll miss your free spirit and Selfless person and all the beautiful moments, laughter, and lessons. I'm grieved but I'm equally thankful for knowing you and sharing a great part of your life. Uncle Joe my "buddy", sleep well and may God Almighty in His infinite mercy Usher you into His Heavenly Kingdom.....
Adieu Sir Joe....Adieu Uncle Joe
